What is your TCO?

What is your TCO?

First, what is TCO.  Gartner defines Total Cost of Ownership as the total cost of using and maintaining an IT investment over time.  The TCO calculations include direct costs (hardware, software and support) and indirect costs (end-user productivity and downtime).  Most companies only calculate the direct costs and leave out the indirect costs.  Typically, 80% of the cost associated with a computer is technical support, maintenance and labor which include software and updates, not the purchase price.  Before you invest in new IT experts recommend that you evaluate spending history (TCO) and consider alternatives and best practices.  Take time to calculate your TCO per user per month.  More information here – https://avataracloud.com/tco-total-cost-of-ownership/
